Combining Proudfoot’s research into the potential of clothes to express both physical and mental health and Piasecka’s experience of a chronic pain condition and her interest in biomedical understandings of connective tissue and fascia, we will be working together to create blueprints for a new sculptural installation and accompanying sound work examining the stories our bodies and clothes tell about us, the connections, contradictions, truths, and inaccuracies that our interior and exterior states reveal, specifically during periods of illness.
