Emma Lewis-Jones

Emma is a contemporary choreographer and dance dramaturg. Her creative practice is guided by experiential anatomy and experimental interrogation of boundaries (social-cultural, personal, temporary or tangible); informed by direct action. Her training in performance and art underpin Emma's creative practice today. She draws on matters close to her heart such as feminism, sexuality, neurodivergence, climate justice, grief and the border crisis. Emma often works outdoors in public spaces and is always socially engaged. As a facilitator she is dedicated to supporting people to realise their own choreographic potential and positionality.
