TWR Friday Social with Tony Mills/ Room 2 Manoeuvre

This Friday Tony Mills will be taking over our regular Friday Social to share some of what he was working on while in residency at The Work Room last week. Tony / Room 2 Manoeuvre undertook a week long residency in TWR studio developing 'City Breakz'.
“City Breakz is a re-imagining of the classic throw down cypher ritual in hip hop culture, predominantly in b-boying, and aims to use this genre of dance to rediscover spaces and places as sources of inspiration.”
This residency was awarded in partnership with Merchant City Festival to explore making work for outdoors/ public spaces and to undertake a period of practical research towards a new piece of work. Tony will be sharing video clips & images and welcoming dicussion on this new project.
Come along for a peak inside TWR studio and see what Tony has been developing. Feel free to bring along your own post sharing drinks n snacks and stay on for the usual informal/ Green Room chat.
