Nancy Jacinto (Nancy Ahmar) joins The Work Room!
We are pleased to announce that Nancy Jacinto joined The Work Room on 9 October as our new Administration and Communications Assistant. Nancy is supporting us in the administration of our programme including managing bookings and queries around workshops and events. Nancy will also be updating our Socials and pulling together information for our Newsletter. Nancy is working from the office three days a week and is looking forward to meeting more members during her role.
About Nancy
She is a multidisciplinary artist, dancer and performer. Her artistic work focuses on representing her cultural background, her female expression and empowerment, pointing up the sense of belonging as a migrant and the feeling to be comfortable in her coloured skin and body. She aims to build an artist community and meet like-minded people. She wants to get experience and understand the creative and artistic industry in Scotland.
