Ashanti Harris The Haunting R&D

03—08.05.21

The Haunting digital R&D project is a programme of professional and creative, research and development for collaborating artists Ashanti Harris (visual art, dance and performance), Zephyr Liddell (textile design and craft) and Patricia Panther (musical performance and sound) to work towards the production of a new collaborative digital performance work to be presented as part of Glasgow International 2021 in collaboration with The Pyramid at Anderston community centre.

This second week of R&D will take place in the Pyramid at Anderston community centre.

This digital R&D project begins with the question: How can we inhabit spaces and create “live” experiences, without being physically present? Experimenting with 360 film, augmented reality and surround sound as methods for “haunting” a space, the artists will work with these digital mediums to create a “presence” as a performative event which can embody liveness.
