Bursaries to attend DanceLive Festival, Aberdeen

DanceLive Festival is Citymoves Dance Agency’s annual celebration of dance. It is returning for the 17th edition from 20 – 24 October 2022. The performance programme will take place in theatres, outdoor locations, shopping centres and digitally, along with workshops and classes.

The Work Room is partnering with Citymoves to support 3-4 members to attend and experience DanceLive 2022 in Aberdeen.  The support will include a bursary of £400 towards travel & accommodation costs along with a complimentary festival pass giving access to all performances, classes and workshops. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the programme and connect with colleagues from across the dance community in Scotland. 

Alongside Dance Live, The Work Room is collaborating with Federation of Scottish Theatre and CityMoves to host a Dance Forum on Thursday 20th October, 2 – 4pm.

If you are interested in being supported to attend DanceLive please note your interest by getting in touch to tell us why you feel this would be useful to you at this time. This can be sent as an email, or a short video or audio voice notes (no longer than 3 minutes long) to applications@theworkroom.org.uk by Thursday 30 September.

We have an access budget to support additional access requirements for that people may have in order to attend and participate. Please note any access requirements you may have in your email. 

If interest outstrips our available resources, we will give priority to members who have not benefited recently from TWR residencies, bursaries or other projects.
