I am a director, performer, producer, and workshop facilitator based in Forres, Moray in the north east of Scotland.
I make theatre productions under the name Jabuti Theatre, for children and young people. These include My City, Moonbeam on a Cat's Ear, In Her Shadows, and Paper Memories. I am currently developing a new Gaelic-Sami performance collaboration mixing dance and Gaelic and Sami music. My work combines my background in puppetry with aerial-dance, movement, physical theatre, and music. I tell visually driven narrative based stories that aim to engage, inspire, and connect with its audience.
I manage Moray Flying Circus in Forres, and teach regular aerial classes focusing on fitness, mental well-being, and creative expression, for children and adults. I also run children's workshops, masterclasses and act as a facilitator for workshops with teenagers. I am one of Findhorn Bay Arts Culture Collective Artists. I also direct and perform with other companies.
I am constantly looking to develop my practice, my connections with others who work with dance and movement, and grow as a creator, director and performer.
