Katherina Radeva

My name is Katherina but most people call me Kat. I am a first generation migrant woman from the Thracian Valley in Bulgaria.
My practice is interdisciplinary and it spans dance, movement and choreography, devising for performance, set and costume design, installation, space making and visual art - most dominantly drawing. I have been a full time practising artist for twenty years and my solo and collaborative projects broadly sit in choreography, live art and theatre. I am one part of Two Destination Language - an award winning duo working with themes of joy, difference, identity politics and borders in and of myriad layers of languages.
