Katarzyna Sanak

Aspiring young artist focusing her work towards exploring interaction between movement and music; folklore and anthropology; experimental theatre.

Co-founder, producer and performer in a modern circus company 7people_.
From 2016 collaborated with a Norwegian physical and circus theatre Stella Polaris (2016-2019 main ensamble member).
In 2018 completed an Artistic Education under the patronage of polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, The Academy of Theatre Practices "Gardzienice"(Poland).
From 2019 certified Aerial Teacher (My aerial home London, England) and Yoga instructor.

Toured and performed in countries such as Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Armenia, Italy.

Worked for directors such as:
Włodzimierz Staniewski (PL), Per Spildra Borg (NO), Daniel Irizzary (NY), Maciej Gorczyński (PL)

Workshops:
DANCE - contact improvisation and polish contemporary dance technique, folk dance, dance with warrior fans 

CIRCUS - acrobatics (solo, duo and group), juggling (poi, stuff, balls 3, hula-hoop), stilts walking, aerial (silks, trapeze, chinese pole, lyra) 

INSTRUMENTS:
violin (clasically trained), piano, harmonium, guitar, accordion (beginner)

MUSIC AND VOICE:
taketina, classical singing, 3D and polyphonic singing
