Hannah Deus Draper

I am a dance artist, workshop facilitator, producer, and community arts worker and dance writer.

I have collaborated on performances with mask and costume makers, musicians and visual artists. My own research focuses on improvisation and somatic practices exploring the body's relationship to land and finding new ways of being with the non-human world, relating to deep time, finding and making kin-making practices and developing long-term thinking. This has most recently involved working with 'slowing' practices in performance.

I am currently a participant in the Dance Base 'Dancers Emerging Bursary Scheme' 2023/24.
