My interdisciplinary practice gravitates towards embodied and meditative processes. I harnesses song, movement and sculpture to create 'sonorous myth' installations and performances. Woven soundscapes materialise in the form of multi-layered tape loops, crafted through my use of reel-to-reel tape machines and are accompanied by sculptural relics which are 'activated' using movement scores. The work shrouds the audience in a slowed, surreal state which can take the form of myths, folklore or science fiction stories concerning queer ecological perspectives and histories. These narratives are subtly revealed within these durational works and act as collective vessels which purge emotional material offering matter for us all to mould.
