Grace Turner Spinster

Grace is conducting a solo exploration of dance, weaving and aerial equipment considering the stories of weavers from Greek Mythology. Circe, weaves with her spells and her looms, Ariadne helps Thesus defeat the Minotaur with a ball of thread only to be abandoned on the Island of Naxos, Penelope waits and discovers a worlds industry at her finger tips, weaving and unweaving, biding her time.

This flexible, remote residency is being undertaking with in kind support from the Macrobert Arts Centre in Stirling.
