Kieran Brown Queeran, the farmer's son

‘Queeran, the farmer's son’, is a semi-autobiographical solo work in development. Inspired by my experiences growing up rurally, farming and riding horses. Looking at how this environment has affected my sense of self and queer identity.

‘Queeran’ was a nickname given to me at school and I aim to reclaim it, along with the numerous other parts that felt shamed into submission.

‘You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink’.
