Expansive Screendance is a research and development project by Natalia & Owa Barua in collaboration with video designer and visual artist Lewis den Hertog and mentoring from Katrina McPherson. Seeking to evolve their combined dance and video practice, this project interrogates the nature of screendance, specifically in cross art form contexts, shaping the production of work beyond the screen and outwith the common places it tends to be presented, honouring the hybrid medium as a site for multiple creative possibilities.

Natalia & Owa will spend one week in TWR studio and a further week at The Unit, Platform offered in partnership with Platform, Glasgow. 

There will be a sharing of work in progress on 14 June at 5pm @ Platform.
