Sharon Took-Zozaya Finding Petunia LittleTree R&D

29.08—03.09.22

Following a week of remote residency in their home base at Findhorn in July, Sharon will spend a week in TWR studio developing Petunia LittleTree.

Who is Petunia LittleTree? And what is it about her relationship with a baby tree that's so unnerving?  During her residency Sharon Took-Zozaya will continue to develop a bittersweet physical theatre and dance piece exploring emotional responses to the climate crisis through a compassionate lens...and asking how can we live with what we know, with humour, dark undertones and all?

Supported by Creative Scotland, Surge, Citymoves and The Work Room.

Who is Petunia LittleTree? And what is it about her relationship with baby tree Sally Semper Sprout that's so unnerving? This work-in-progress showing by Sharon Took-Zozaya follows a week of continuing development for a bittersweet dance and physical theatre piece that explores emotional responses to the climate crisis through a compassionate lens...asking how can we live with what we know, with humour, dark undertones and all?
