Emma Lewis-Jones BWA - Emma Lewis-Jones & Esyllt Angharad Lewis

We are a collaborative duo who met at art school in 2022. Together we research a queer mistranslation & non-verbal communication through public performance art, in our collaborative practice titled BWA (pronounced boo-ah. Welsh meaning ‘arch’). 

During this residency we shall work the repertoire around many new materials; sustainable alternatives to flexiply. We are also developing a public workshop, which will be advertised alongside our public performance early next year.
