Information Zoom | Wednesday 12 July | 10am

The international exchange project Meeting Points emerged in 2019 from the collaboration between The Work Room Glasgow and Tanzbüro München. In 2024 the third edition will take place – join this online information session to find out more.

Meeting Points will enable two professional independent choreographers from Munich and two from Scotland to meet and work together intensively during two one week-residencies.

The weeklong meetings will take place in Glasgow and Munich to maximise the opportunities for the participating dance practitioners to get to know each other, the cities and the respective dance scenes, to see performances together and to make new contacts. The aim of the project is to create a sustainable model for artistic exchange (on the level of the artists as well as between the institutions),  sharing practices and to initiate creative collaborations between independent artists from Scotland and Germany.

Each artist will receive a contribution of £1900/ €2200 for participating in the project as well as travel and accommodation costs and per diems for the stay in the host country.

Ahead of the call out we will hold an Info Zoom together with Tanzbüro München, where we will inform about the new round and answer questions. Bridie Gane from Meeting Points II will share her experince and answer questions along with Laura Saumweber from Germany.
