INVITE Workshop
with Curious Seed & Playwrights' Studio Scotland

We are delighted to be partnering with Curious Seed and Playwrights’ Studio Scotland once again to host INVITE. This is an exploratory workshop in which Curious Seed’s Artistic Director, Christine Devaney and musician and writer Luke Sutherland share their unique creative process as a way of discovering what this can bring to the very first stages of devising new work. This workshop invites dance artists and writers to explore new collaborative and experimental ways of working between text, music and movement.
Christine and Luke will also be joined by composer, performer and cellist Rose Dagul and playwrights from Playwrights’ Studio Scotland.
This opportunity is open to members of TWR and is most suitable for mid-career or experienced dancers & choreographers who have an interest in exploring writing.
We are particularly interested in receiving applications from artists based outside of the central belt of Scotland.
The workshops will take place from 10.30am – 5.30pm on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September at Perth Theatre and Concert Hall. There is a fee of £175 per day per person plus travel and access expenses.
