Citymoves Dance Agency’s annual celebration of dance in Aberdeen returns for the 20th edition from Thursday 15 October to Monday 19 October.
The performance programme will take place in theatres and unusual and beautiful locations, along with workshops and classes. Full Festival programme will be released on 1 August.
The Work Room is partnering with Citymoves to support 2 members at an early stage of their career and who haven’t attended DanceLive before to experience the Festival.
Support includes a bursary of £300 to attend, reimbursed return travel by public transport cost, hotel room accommodation provided and a complimentary Festival Pass giving access to all performances, classes and workshops. Bursary recipients will also be invited to attend the Festival Launch and additional events during the Festival.
This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the programme and connect with colleagues from across the dance community in Scotland.

If you are interested in being supported to attend DanceLive, please tell us why this would be useful to you by email, or a short video or audio voice notes (up to 3 minutes long) to applications@theworkroom.org.uk by Monday 31 August, midnight.
We want to support members who can be available to attend all the Festival days so please check your diary first.
Please also tell us of any additional access requirements you have, as we have budget to support participation.
All applicants will be notified by 11 September.
