DanceLive is Citymoves’ annual festival of dance. This year, DanceLive will be a hybrid festival presenting small, socially distanced performances and outdoor work, accompanied by a digital component following Citymoves’ first successful fully online festival in 2020.  The programme will also embrace Screen.Dance festival programme on Thursday 13 October.

The Work Room is partnering with Citymoves to support 3-4 members to attend and experience DanceLive in Aberdeen.  The support will include a bursary of £250 towards travel & accommodation costs along with a complimentary festival pass. Supported members will have access to online, indoor and outdoor performances, as well as the opportunity to participate in class & workshops.

If you are interested in being supported to attend DanceLive, please note your interest by getting in touch to tell us why you feel this would be beneficial to you at this time. This can be sent as an email, or a short video or audio voice notes (no longer than 3 minutes long) to applications@theworkroom.org.uk by Monday 27 September.

Please also indicate any additional access requirements that you would require, to enable you to participate.

If interest outstrips our available resources, we will give priority to members who have not benefited recently from TWR residencies, bursaries or other projects.
