Thomas Baylis
Thomas graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2012.
He has performed with companies including, the National Theatre of Scotland, National Dance Company Wales, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Croatian National Ballet in Zagreb, David Hughes Dance, Scottish Opera and Company Chordelia. He has performed in works by choreographers and directors including, Lies Pauwels, Rosie Kay, Ashley Page, Matthew Bourne, Cathy Marston, Al Seed, Rafael Bonachela, Andrew George and Kally Lloyd Jones.
Thomas choreographed 'Oceans' for Edinburgh Choreographic Project in 2013, 'All Blether' for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2015 and collaborated with composer, Claire McCue, on 'GAME?' Performed at the Cottier Dance Festival in 2016. Choreography/Movement Direction roles include productions for the National Theatre of Scotland, A Play, A Pie & A Pint at Oran Mor Glasgow, Scottish Opera/RCS and the Royal Court, London.
Thomas works in social care for adults with autism, learning disabilities or mental health conditions. He also represents colleagues as a UNISON Steward.
