My practice begins with the body, it is an ongoing enquiry of the interplay between movement as an abstraction and our embodied experience of everyday. Using the body as a vehicle for mutual and self-recognition, I’m interested in creating environments through performance and research lab/ workshops where our awareness is directed towards our-selves and Other, moving through and past binaries and opening new somatic pathways to engage with the world. Improvisation is a strong element in my practice, both in personal exploration, performance, and contact.
