Marina Renee-Cemmick

As visual artist, maker, performer and dancer my artist practice is diverse in material and process. Drawing serves as a foundation for all my visual work, initiating oil paintings, sculptural forms and installations. I use the body is a central focus both visually and through performance as a powerful tool with which to communicate. The reoccurring themes I am dealing with explore the human experience, degradation, space and transformation.

Most recently I am looking to cross the boundaries between the visual and perforative disciplines of my artistic practice, through improvisation, experimentation, and play.
