Lewis A Bramble

At the heart of all my practice and teaching, having fun and feeling great whilst improvising.

I have professionally trained and worked internationally. I have always practiced and taken classes in different Hip-Hop styles and have done so for many years.
I trained at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), completing a Bachelor's Degree in contemporary technique and also a Post Graduate Diploma in Contemporary Dance Performance, this is where we worked as a professional company and learned and performed 4 pieces from 4 different choreographers. We toured these works nationally and internationally through the year.

After this I got to work professionally within the contemporary world but also the commercial side of things as well. I have worked dance companies, on adverts, music videos and award programmes such as the BRIT awards. Being able to mix both practices has also been something that I have enjoyed and have been able to explore with Breakin Convention, taking part in the open arts surgery programme with a friend of mine, where I was able to mix both classical and urban practices. Also performing Hip-Hop theatre shows on the main stage at Sadlers Wells within the Breakin Convention festival.

I want to bring all of my experience and techniques together to create a unique way which can encompass everything and include everyone, regardless of background or experience.
