Kirsten Newell

I am a bharatanatyam artist based based in Edinburgh. I graduated from Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai, India in 2013. I am passionate about bringing exciting, innovative and high quality South Asian dance to Scotland. It is my dream and vision for Bharatanatyam to flourish as an innovative and explorative art form within Scotland. I have been involved in several South Asian dance projects/productions in the UK that I feel have really helped me evolve as a dance artist.
