What interests me most as a young dancer and maker, is playing with creative impulses from our minds. As I am currently on a journey of finding out more about my mind as a neurodiverse individual, I am becoming even more fascinated with how unique each persons midn is and how they vary so much in their ways of working and creating.
Finding new and unconventional ways of expressing what only we can see and think, is something I find particularly intriguing due to the infinite creativity of our minds. I believe our personalities are very strongly linked to the images and stories we build in our heads and so this can allow a certain performative element to grow as you discover your inner conversation between body and mind.
I like to use elements of both dance and theatricality when experimenting, in order for me to build a humorous/light-hearted atmosphere in which I can produce more interesting and performative work.
