Jen Kelly

I create autobiographical performance work exploring gender, mental health, and identity, responding to the shifting realities of the current political climate. A big aspect of my practice is situated in movement, choreography and physical theatre. I’m drawn to the raw, immediate nature of real-time, real-effort performance — it’s how I reclaim space and connect through emotion, expressing what’s often unsayable. My work extends beyond the stage into community performance workshops, offering spaces for women, non-binary, and gender-diverse participants to explore material and themes physically and collectively.
