Hayley is an independent dance artist based in Glasgow with vast experience in performance and facilitating dance. Her practice roots itself in the body's drive to move and to connect.

After graduating from Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Hayley became a founding member of Indepen-dance4, an award-winning inclusive dance company.

Interested in dance theatre and diverse performance roles, Hayley has also had the pleasure of performing works by Curious Seed, Starcatchers, Marc Brew Dance Company and Barrowland Ballet.

In 2018, Hayley began ventures into choreography when she was commissioned to create GROW, a show for 3-5 years old, in collaboration with director Anna Newell, composer David Goodall and designer Brian Hartley. Touring in 2019, GROW is curious, hypnotic, gentle and playful performed by Indepen-dance4.

Hayley was the winner of The Sunday Herald Culture Awards 2018 for Best Dance Performer.

Invested in community practice, Hayley regularly delivers education for Scottish Ballet. Facilitating workshops for Dance for Parkinson's, Time To Dance (dance for those living with dementia) and Elevate (dance for those living with MS). She also runs Overdrive Dance Company. Based at the Theatre Royal Glasgow, Overdrive promotes dance for boys and young men. Hayley has also had the pleasure of delivering education for Rambert Dance Company, Edinburgh International Festival and Matthew Bourne's New Adventures.
