Evelina Sjödin Bergström

Evelina Tiger is a performing dance artist and choreographer from Lund, Sweden. She relocated to Scotland in 2020 and graduated with a First Class degree from The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance (The Space) in 2023. Since graduating, she has gained further experience as a choreographer by creating several works – including her first full-length contemporary piece – for the Scottish Dementia Arts Festival in Inverness, Edinburgh and Stirling.

As a queer and disabled dance artist – and a part time support worker for adults with disabilities – Evelina is always looking for ways to develop, create and connect with an inclusive approach at the core. She enjoy finding creative ways of tailoring movements to the bodies and needs of the performers she works with and collaborating with a diverse group of people, regardless of age, ability or background.

Having grown up immersed in alternative subcultures, Evelina is particularly interested in the relationship between dance, music, fashion and identity. She is therefore currently exploring how to merge the influences she grew up with into her choreographic practice.
