Eleanor Walker
I am particularly drawn to improvisation, and throughout my studies I followed that interest as much as possible, including a research project surrounding habits in improvisation and creating a dance piece using improvised games as part of a live performance. I am part of Third Thread, an improvisational ensemble based in the practice of “Self with Othersâ€, where in addition to movement, I have discovered written text and speech as additional avenues for creativity.
Currently, I am particularly interested in soft bodies in dance, and how softness could be our best strength.
