Catriona Anne Robertson

During my time studying at Trinity Laban I have been fortunate to gain experience in working with Fabula Collective during their residency in Inverness (2019). In 2021 I worked with the visual artist Tim Murray-Browne for his 'Sonified Body' R&D in Glasgow and as an Apprentice dance artist with Barrowland Ballet.

With support from The Work Room I have been able to continue my research into the physical articulation of vulnerability within practice and performance. I continue to be curious about the driving force of the movement which I believe begins much deeper than the aesthetic of the physical body. As an artist I hope to create work that offers a sense of connection, relating to personal experiences and universal emotions that can be transformed into a physical response.
