Visit to Platform

To connect with the performance of SKETCHES by Katie Armstrong, we are organising a visit for Work Room members to Platform arts centre in Easterhouse, Glasgow. We will be given a tour of the centre and meet with Matt Addicott (Artistic Director) and Anna Hodgart (Performance & Music Programmer), to hear more about Platform's work & programming approach.
SKETCHES is a production by choreographer Katie Armstrong created in collaboration with multi award winning DJ and Composer Mariam Rezaei. Inspired by Bachs' Violin Concerto in A Minor, SKETCHES incorporates a group of dancers, a string quintet and an onstage DJ, to create an energetic fusion of contemporary colour and classic art. SKETCHES is touring Scotland in Spring 2023 supported by Creative Scotland's Touring Fund.

We will meet at Platform at 6pm, with the performance starting from 7pm.
