Join current studio resident Anne Kjær in The Work Room studio on Friday 29 August for a work in progress sharing of 'YES IS A FUTURE'
The sharing will last approximately 1 hour. Attendees are welcome to stay on and join our Summer Social & Library Launch at 5:30 pm in the studio
ABOUT
YES IS A FUTURE is a solo performance that explores the journey of reclaiming my sexuality and erotic self after sexual trauma. It addresses universal feelings of dissociation, shame, grief, and rage that are common experiences for survivors of sexual trauma. The work challenges cultural expectations and stereotypes of female sexuality and centres pleasure and the erotic as key to resilience and autonomy.

The sharing will include work in progress and structured time for feedback and Q&A.

The sharing is open to all members of The Work Room, but artists with a trauma-informed practice may find this work especially interesting.

The Work Room is on the top floor of Tramway, and can be accessed via stairs or a lift.
The Work Room has two gender neutral, wheelchair accessible toilets with showers.
