Beginning with tuning into ourselves, each other, and the environment we are in, we will work with imagery, our senses, and our matter , playing with different movement possibilities and cultivating our dancing awareness.
At this time of year, the rest of nature is drawing energy inward and descending, so we will end with a short bodywork exercise, alone or in pairs.
Venue
Queens Park Govanhill Parish Church, 170 Queen's Drive, Glasgow, G42 8QZ
QPGPC has yellow doors. The internal venue used is the Sanctuary, which is accessed via lift or stairs.
Occasionally, the location of class may need to change at short notice if the hall is required by the community for a funeral service. Ticket holders will be emailed about any change of location asap, and we will announce this on our website and socials.
Professional Contemporary
This is co-run weekly, morning contemporary class with The Work Room and Barrowland Ballet, for the professional dance community in Glasgow on Thursdays and Fridays. The classes began in 2018 in response to the lack of professional-level contemporary dance classes in the city, providing a space for independent dance artists to come together to train and sustain practice.

Human Appeal run a campaign - Wrap Up Glasgow during October & November each year. Here at QPG we have collected coats, jackets, jumpers and warm clothing for the last few years. Would you like to join with us and other organisations donating items for this appeal which runs from now until the beginning of November.
Bagged used items of clothing can be left on the trolley in the church foyer. From there they will be taken to Safestore at Dixon Blazes to be sorted and distributed.
