Bethany’s class aims to centre the unique joy that moving with others can bring. Through simple, practical, physical provocations – dancing with your feet/base fixed in place, or directional slow motion - we start with personal movement investigation. These tasks then come into relation with others as we start to play with pathways through space.
Throughout the class we will be gently opening our awareness into performance, observing and being observed until we are all composing together through both actively doing and watching.
Bethany will bring an eclectic playlist. The music is there to be danced with, danced over, and danced through.
