Movement, Improvisation & Exchange with Shotput is a Member-Led Event

Join Shotput in the studio for a couple of hours of movement, improvisation, and exchange. 

We'll begin with an ensemble warm-up that we often use when starting to make work. We'll then move into more structured tasks, developed during our time in residence at The Work Room in November, which centres around how sound - particularly analogue sound, as from cassette tapes - can influence the way that we move. This is in relation to our explorations with cassette tapes associated with our piece in development, Three Sisters.

Our hope for this workshop is for performers to make new relationships - with us, with each other - and to shake up our devising methods.
