The Work Room
Fleur Darkin, Francesco Ferrari and Amy Hollinshead are in residence at The Work Room developing new work ITHACA. During the residency they will be focusing on the physical and theatrical language.
Born from Darkin and Ferrari’s desire to evolve their collaboration as co-devisors of live theatre, ITHACA is a live puzzle between the figure of Ulysses/Francesco - the wandering hero – and Athena/Fleur - the divine presence. The work spirals around these two co-dependent characters, their intimacy and distance and the power dynamics between the mortals and the gods, dancers and choreographers.
