Interested in learning more about inclusive dance and examples of inclusive dance work? Would you like to know more about opportunities which could support your practice?
Glasgow-based Dance Artist Valeria Levi invites you to Inclusion in Motion, hosted by Indepen-dance in collaboration with The Work Room.
Valeria was a recipient of the Federation of Scottish Theatre’s Bursary 2024/2025 and worked in Indepen-dance as a trainee choreographer and producer for a 9 week Placement.
This event will include:
- live performance by Valeria and Indepen-dance dancers
- a Q&A and discussion on Valeria’s experiences
- a practical, fun and appropriate activity to finish
The event will be facilitated by Valeria and the Indepen-dance team.
Like-minded dancers and artists at any stage of their career and from any background are welcome to join us for an afternoon of dancing & connecting. Take away fresh motivation and good vibes!
BSL Interpretation will be provided from Rachel Wilson.

Independance's Studio is at 159-161 James St, Bridgeton, Glasgow G40 1BS
There is limited parking on street. Buses stop nearby at Bridgeton Cross.
The nearest rail station is Bridgeton.
The entrance door is operated by pressing a buzzer.
There are no steps; it's a level floor into a small hallway.
There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom at the other side of the studio.
