This Company Class will be hosted by Fleur Darkin Presence Projects, lead by company dancer Melissa Keifer. Fleur Darkin Presence Projects have pop up performances at the GoMA, Glasgow on the Tues and Weds at 2.30pm
From somatic work and compositional improvisation to schematically structured and clear movement sequences, the class becomes a time of deeper understanding and expansion of our own movement vocabulary and anchoring in our own body. Thereby we will have a closer look on how we actually embody the movements and how we can anchor ourselves in our physical intelligence.
Melissa Kieffer works as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher .She has taught for Sasha Waltz & Guests, Scottish Dance Theatre, DART Studios Berlin/Potsdam,Tanznetz Freiburg, LafdK Bremen, 4fürTanz Leipzig, Dock11 Berlin, Marameo Berlin, Danceworks Berlin and more. She has danced in productions by choreographers including Johannes Wieland, Sebastian Zuber, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Mirjam Gurtner and Victor Rottier. She is a founding member of the greywax dance company, together with Victor Rottier and Niki Anjes.
