Body Movement workshops with Dorine Mugisha

30.07—19.11.23
The Work Room

30th July, 13th August, 10th September, 15th October & 19 November | 1100 - 1530 | The Work Room Studio

Dorine Mugisha will be leading monthly full day Body Movement workshops at The Work Room, open to all levels. She is particularly keen on hearing from people who don’t feel represented in dance and has recently started to create spaces for dancing that welcome and celebrate plus sized people, all of our bodies, all of our movement.

Dorine’s practice includes a range of styles. She aims to give tools to the attendees to develop and build confidence in their own movement. She wants the attendees to understand and explore their own comfort zone but also challenge themselves to new approaches and concepts, creating more self awareness.

The workshops will also have a key focus on connection: there will be space for attendees to get to know each other, both through movement but also through conversations and discussions.
